Lassen County, California (July 10, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened early Wednesday morning in Bieber, a census-designated place in Lassen County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred at about 1:54 a.m. on Highway 299 at Susanville Road just in front of Red Barn.

A Chevrolet Impala and a Nissan Sentra were involved in the collision. Reportedly, one of the cars went across the traffic lanes and crashed into the other.

A man and an elderly woman occupied one of the vehicles.

One person was transported to Mayers Memorial Hospital District for treatment of minor injuries.

Both vehicles acquired major crash damage. Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the scene.

CHP is investigating the incident.
