Roman Flores Among 4 Hospitalized after Fresno Crash on State Route 145 near Kerman
Fresno, California (July 7, 2019) – Roman Flores of Madera was among four people who were hurt in a fatal collision involving a big rig on Friday afternoon near Kerman, Fresno, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened on State Route 145 near Floral Avenue just after 1:45 p.m. on Friday, June 5.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Dodge Durango occupied by five people was traveling northbound on State Route 145 when, for an unknown reason, the Dodge collided with a big rig.
The force of the impact caused the Durango to roll over several times.
Roman Flores Injured in Fatal Crash on State Route 145 Near Kerman
A male occupant of the Durango was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released pending notification of family.
Roman Flores was one of the other passengers in the Durango and sustained moderate injuries. The driver and one passenger suffered major injuries while a third passenger had moderate injuries. All patients were transported to Community Regional Medical Center in Downtown Fresno.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
