Guadalupe Ramirez Arrested For Sonoma DUI Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 12
Sonoma, California (July 3, 2019) – 20-year-old Guadalupe Dionicio Ramirez has been identified as an alleged hit-and-run driver who triggered traffic collision in Sonoma late Sunday night.
The crash, which happened at around 10:00 p.m. June 30, occurred on Highway 12.
A local news source indicated that Ramirez was driving along south on SR-12 when he veered into the northbound lanes and sideswiped an oncoming vehicle near Village Shopping Center.

A female motorist in the second vehicle suffered unspecified injuries following the wreck. The authorities did not disclose the name of the victim.
Ramirez did not stop after the collision to render aid to the injured party. Shortly after evading the scene, Ramirez ended up slamming into a tree near Mary’s Pizza corporate headquarters. He was attended to by emergency responder who arrived at the scene after a short time.
The police suspected that Ramirez was intoxicated at the time of the collision.
The crash remains under an active investigation.
