Felton, California (June 29, 2019) – A motorcycle rider was critically hurt in a traffic collision that involved a car in Felton late Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported shortly before 9:30 p.m. June 26, at the intersection of Graham Hill Road and Summit Avenue near Highway 9 and the Felton Covered Bridge County Park.

The CHP report indicated that the accident happened when a sedan collided with a motorcycle at the intersection for reasons still under investigation.

The motorcyclist suffered severe injuries following the crash. The victim was attended to by the paramedics and then flown to the hospital for further treatment.

The identity and the current condition of the injured party have not yet been released to this time.

It was not mentioned whether or not the driver of the involved car stopped and cooperated with the officials’ investigation.

Meanwhile, the crash remains under an active investigation.
