Castro Valley, California (June 29, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a two-vehicle collision Friday night in the area of Castro Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision happened at around 11:51 p.m. Friday, June 28, on eastbound 580 Freeway, just west of Highway 238.

As per the CHP officials, two vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The names of the patients and their current condition were not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
