Eureka, California (June 16, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle on Saturday night in Eureka, according to a local news source.
The collision happened at about 11:30 p.m. June 15, on N Street near 4th Street.
According to the report, a driver contacted the authorities after being involved in an auto-pedestrian collision.
The driver had fled to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Station on Fourth Street after being attacked by some of the witnesses of the crash.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and attended to the injured pedestrian.
Police also responded to the incident to conduct an investigation into the crash.
