Anthony Au ID’d as Second Victim Killed in Highway 101 Crash in San Luis Obispo
San Luis Obispo, California (June 14, 2019) – The second victim of a deadly car accident that took place early Wednesday morning in San Luis Obispo has been identified as Anthony Au, 43, of Los Osos, according to a local news source.
The tragic accident happened at about 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, on Highway 101 near Higuera Street.
According to the news, Nicole Scalone, 22, of Bellevue, Washington, was driving southbound on northbound Highway 101 in the No. 1 lane when her Ford Fiesta collided head-on with a Honda Civic driven by Au.

Scalone and Au were killed in the accident.
The name of the other driver has not yet been disclosed.
It is undetermined if distracted driving, drugs or alcohol were factors in the accident. The CHP is investigating the crash.
