Juan Luna Injured in Car Accident on Lakeville Highway in Petaluma
Juan Luna Hospitalized after Petaluma Crash on Lakeville Highway near Sleepy Hollow Dairy Road
Petaluma, California (June 11, 2019) – Juan Luna, 23, of Rio Linda, was among five people who were injured early Monday morning in a head-on crash in Petaluma, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck, which was reported shortly after 6:40 a.m. Monday, June 10, happened 10 on Lakeville Highway, just north of Sleepy Hollow Dairy Road.
According to the CHP, Juan Luna, 23, of Rio Linda, was driving a Honda Civic on Lakeville Highway when he allowed the Honda to drift into the opposite lane forcing a small sedan to make a sudden movement.
The sedan ended up driving into the path of an oncoming box truck operated by Evan Isbell, 29, of Santa Rosa. Both vehicles ultimately collided head-on.

Luna and his passenger were trapped inside the wrecked Honda and had to be extricated by emergency responders. Both sustained major injuries and were rushed to a hospital.
Isbell and his two male passengers were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
No other details were immediately provided. An investigation into the crash is underway.
