At Least 1 Killed, 4 Hurt in Ceres Car Accident near Sam Avenue and Herndon Road
Ceres, California (June 10, 2019) – At least one person died and four others were injured in an accident where a vehicle slammed into an apartment building in Ceres early Sunday morning, according to a local news source.
The crash took place just after 1:30 a.m. June 9, in the 1240 block of Sam Avenue near Herndon Road.
According to the news source, a black Chevrolet was allegedly speeding westbound on Holm Avenue when the driver failed to stop for a stop sign at Herndon and crashed into a one-storey apartment building.

Emergency crews responded and performed CPR on several victims.
According to the report, at least one person was killed in the crash.
Three other patients were transported to local hospitals with major injuries while a fourth victim was airlifted to a children’s hospital.
The parties injured in the collision were inside the apartment.
The driver of the vehicle, who seemed unhurt, was reportedly taken into custody after the crash.
A further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
