Brittany Chase Among 3 Seriously Injured in Saratoga Springs Car Accident on Route 50 near Leonards Road

Saratoga Springs, California (June 9, 2019) – Brittany Chase, 23, of Greenfield was among three people who were seriously injured Friday night in a traffic accident in Saratoga Springs, according to police.
The crash happened at about 7:45 p.m. Friday, June 8 on Route 50 near Leonards Road.
Police said a black 2008 Honda Accord driven by Lucian Dublea, 40, of Troy, was heading southbound on Route 50 when the Honda drifted off the right side of the road and careened off a guide rail.
The Honda then rebounded over the double yellow center median and into the northbound lanes of travel and collided head-on with a northbound blue 2014 Chevy Cruz operated by Brittany Chase, 23, of Greenfield.

Chase and Dublea sustained major injuries and were flown to Albany Medical Center Hospital. April Molina,22, of Saratoga Springs, who was a passenger in the Chevy, was also taken by ground ambulance with major injuries.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
