1 Seriously Injured in McCloud Crash at Highway 89 and Squaw Valley Road

McCloud, California (June 7, 2019) – One person was seriously injured Thursday afternoon in a traffic crash at a McCloud intersection, according to a statement resealed by the California Highway Patrol.
The wreck happened at about 3:45 p.m. Thursday, June 6 at the intersection of Highway 89 and Squaw Valley Road, in front of Chevron Gas Station.
As per the CHP report, a silver-colored sedan collided with a stage bus for an undetermined reason at the McCloud intersection.

One person sustained major injuries and was treated at the scene by emergency responders before being taken to a hospital for treatment. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation.
