Santa Clarita, California (June 7, 2019) – A person was injured late Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Santa Clarita, according to a local news report.

The accident, which was reported shortly before 11:45 a.m. Thursday, June 6, took place on Highway 14, just south of Newhall Avenue.

As per the report, authorities said a blue Toyota Prius collided with a white Hyundai sedan for unknown reason collided on Highway 14.

As a result of the crash, one of the vehicles sustained rear-end damage while the other car had front-end damage.

Firefighters along with the medical personnel, responded to the scene and rendered aid to one person who sustained unknown injuries following the crash. Authorities did not mention if he or she was taken to a hospital for further treatment.

The name and condition of the victim at this time remained unknown.

The crash remains under investigation.
