Minor Injuries Sustained in Sacramento Traffic Collision at Butterball Way and Elkhorn Boulevard

Sacramento, California (June 3, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that took place Sunday afternoon in Sacramento.
As per the CHP, the accident occurred at about 1:50 p.m. at the intersection of Butterball Way and Elkhorn Boulevard near Del Taco.
Four vehicles collided at the intersection for unknown reasons. All the vehicles were blocking the roadway after the crash.
The motorists sustained minor injuries in the crash. Firefighters alongside paramedics responded to the scene to help the victims.
Towing services were needed to remove the vehicles from the scene.
The cause of the crash and the responsible party will be established when authorities conclude their investigation.
