1 Killed, 1 Injured in Mead Valley Crash at Old Elsinore and Smoketree

Mead Valley, California (May 31, 2019) – One person was killed and another sustained minor injury in a traffic collision in Mead Valley Thursday morning.
The fatal collision was reported at around 6:35 a.m. May 30, in the area of Old Elsinore Road and Smoketree Street.
The Riverside County Fire Department indicated that the accident involved at least one vehicle which crashed for reasons still under investigation. The crash was not termed as a single car accident.
One person was sadly pronounced dead at the scene following the wreck. Another victim sustained minor injuries in the accident. The patient was treated at the scene by the paramedics who responded shortly after the crash. The identities of the deceased and the injured parties have not yet been disclosed to this time.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to determine why the crash happened.
