Woman Critically Injured in Mission Hills Pedestrian Accident near San Diego International Airport
Mission Hills, California (May 30, 2019) – A woman was struck and critically injured by a train Wednesday evening in Mission Hills, according to authorities.
The accident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 near the San Diego International Airport.
Authorities said a Coaster train was headed northbound at approximately 35 miles per hour between Santa Fe Depot and Old Town Station when the woman walked into the middle of the railroad tracks near West Washington Street and was hit.

Paramedics responded to the scene and transported the woman to a hospital, where she listed in critical condition. Her name has not been disclosed.
