Whittier, California (May 30, 2019) – One person was injured Tuesday morning in a traffic accident in Whittier, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 11:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 28 on the Interstate 605 Freeway at Saragosa Street.
CHP said a white compact car collided with a white Jeep for an unknown reason in the southbound lanes of the freeway.

Emergency responders took at least one person to a hospital with unknown injuries. The name and current condition of the victim were not disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation.
