Rider Seriously Injured in North Highlands Motorcycle Accident at Madison and Garfield Avenues
North Highlands, California (May 29, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Wednesday evening in a traffic accident at an intersection in North Highlands, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around 7:06 p.m. at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Garfield Avenue.
CHP said a Harley Davidson collided with a Jeep SUV for an unspecified reason at the North Highlands intersection near Arcade Creek Park.

Firefighters along with medical personnel responded to the scene to rendered aid to the rider who was found lying down on the ground and suffering from major injuries following the crash. The rider was then taken to a hospital for further treatment.
The name of the patient and their current condition were not disclosed.
Authorities did not mention in the report if the Jeep driver was injured or if that motorist remained at the scene after the crash.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
