Richard Adeokun ID’d as San Ramon Man Killed in Walnut Creek Car Accident on 680 Freeway near North Main Street Off-Ramp

Walnut Creek, California (May 29, 2019) – Authorities have identified Richard Adeokun, 63, of San Ramon as the man who was killed Monday morning in a two-car accident in Walnut Creek.
The deadly crash happened at about 11:58 a.m. Monday, May 27 on Interstate 680 Freeway near the North Main Street exit.
The California Highway Patrol said Adeokun was driving a black 1974 Porsche on Interstate 680 Freeway when for an unspecified reason, the Porsche collided with a black Jeep SUV.
Fatal Car Accident in Walnut Creek Monday, May 27
Adeokun was taken to John Muir Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Two occupants of the Jeep SUV sustained minor injuries and complained of pain.
Alcohol or drugs were not considered factors in the wreck.
The crash remains under investigation.
