Woman Hurt in San Jacinto DUI Car Crash at Sanderson Avenue and Highway 79

San Jacinto, California (May 29, 2019) – One person was transported to the hospital after being involved in a DUI traffic collision in San Jacinto Tuesday evening.
The collision, which was reported at about 7:38 p.m. May 28, occurred in the area of North Sanderson Avenue and Highway 79.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department indicated that a total of three vehicles crashed at the intersection for reasons still under investigation.
A female driver in one of the involved cars suffered injuries as a result of the accident. She was attended to by the paramedics and after that rushed to a local hospital for medication. The name and the current condition of the injured party have not yet been released to this time.
The authorities confirmed that the other driver identified as a male party was intoxicated at the time of the accident. He was arrested and charged for driving under the influence.
No further details regarding the wreck have been released to this time.
