Several Hurt in Atascadero Head-on Crash on Highway 41
Atascadero, California (May 26, 2019) – Several people were injured in a head-on crash in Atascadero Saturday night.
The accident was reported at about 10:21p.m.on May 25, along the 13550 block of highway 41.
As per the reports, the accident involved two vehicles which crashed head-on for unknown reasons.
One of the drivers involved was trapped inside the wreckage and had to be extricated. The victim sustained moderate to significant injuries following the accident. The occupants in the other vehicle suffered moderate injuries in the crash.
All the injured parties were transported to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in San Luis Obispo by an ambulance for treatment.
The names and current condition of the patients remain unknown to this time.
The roadway remains closed at approximately four hours while the police conducted the investigation.
Meanwhile, the crash remains under an active investigation.
