2 Seriously Injured in Corona Motorcycle Accident on 91 Freeway
Corona, California (May 26, 2019) – Two people were hurt in a traffic collision that involved a motorcycle in Corona Friday, according to a local news source.
The motorcycle accident was reported on May 24, along the Interstate 91 Freeway at McKinley Street.
The crash happened when a 46-year-old man riding a motorbike with one passenger east on Interstate 91 struck police in front of a Shell gas station for an unknown reason.
Initial reports indicated that the driver sustained minor injuries following the collision. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
A female passenger also sustained major trauma injuries and was rushed to the hospital for medication. The female patient was listed to be in critical condition. The identity of both injured party has not yet been released.
One of the northbound McKinley lanes from Sampson and the eastbound 91 onramp Avenue were closed while the authorities conducted the investigation.
