San Bernardino County, California (May 25, 2019) – A person was hospitalized last week Tuesday after a traffic accident near Kramer Junction, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck occurred Tuesday, May 14 on northbound Highway 395, about two miles south of Kramer Junction.

According to the CHP, a 1997 Coachman motor home was heading northbound on Highway 395 when for an undetermined reason, a 2015 Dodge 3500 pickup truck hauling a Chevy Express toy hauler crashed into the back of a 1997 Coachman motor home.

The force of the impact caused the Dodge to drift into the southbound lanes while the Freightliner hit the passenger side of the toy hauler.

The pickup driver was taken by ambulance to Barstow Hospital with minor injuries.

No other injuries were reported.

Crews closed State Route 395 for a short time as they cleared the crash site.
