Perris, California (May 25, 2019) – Several people were injured Friday morning in a traffic crash at an intersection in Perris, authorities said.
The collision was reported at around 7:18 a.m. Friday, May 24 at the intersection of Diana Street and San Jacinto Avenue.
Authorities said two vehicles collided for an undetermined reason at the Perris intersection near the Enchanted Hills Elementary School.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to a total of nine people, including an adult and eight children, who sustained minor injuries a result of the accident. It was not mentioned in the report if the victims were taken to the hospital for further treatment.
The names and condition of the patients were not disclosed.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
