At Least 1 Injured in Highway 299 Crash
At Least One Sustains Minor Injuries in Willow Creek Motorcycle Accident Highway 299 near Fork Road

Willow Creek, California (May 22, 2019) – At least one person was injured Saturday in a traffic accident in Willow Creek, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck happened on Highway 299 near South Fork Road Saturday, May 18.
According to the CHP, a pedestrian and a man riding a black Honda Goldwing were involved in the crash.
The circumstances under which the accident occurred were not yet established as at the time of reporting, but authorities said the motorcycle ended up down in the embankment in the area. The rider rolled down with the bike.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and found the pedestrian lying in the roadway. The CHP said at least one person sustained minor injuries in the crash. The name and current condition of the victim remained unknown.
No other details were immediately available.
Authorities are still investigating the crash.
