Boron, California (May 20, 2019) – Two people were injured in a traffic collision in Boron Tuesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol group.

The multi-vehicle collision was reported at around 4:46 p.m. May 14, on Highway 58.

The accident involved two semi-trucks and a Sedan which crashed on the roadway for reasons still under investigation.

Two people were stuck inside the wreckage following the accident. The victims were extracted immediately by the firefighters who responded after a few minutes at the scene. One of the injured parties sustained back injuries while the other suffered multiple hurts. The current condition and the identities of the victims have not yet been released to this time.

A white utility trailer was found at the scene by the authorities with significant front-end damage.

Meanwhile, the crash remains under an active investigation.
