San Gorgonio Pass, California (May 18, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained in a traffic crash Friday afternoon in the area of San Gorgonio Pass, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at around 3:31 p.m. Friday, May 17, on Highway 79 and County Landfill Road.

As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles was reportedly weaving in and out of traffic before the crash.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

One of the vehicles went 100 feet off the roadway following the crash.

An investigation is ongoing.
