Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in San Pablo Crash on 80 Freeway
Rider Sustains Major Injuries in San Pablo Motorcycle Accident on Westbound 80 Freeway near San Pablo Dam
San Pablo, California (May 15, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Monday morning in a traffic accident in San Pablo, according to California Highway Patrol.
The major crash was reported shortly after 7:00 a.m. Monday, May 13 on the Interstate 80 Freeway near San Pablo Dam Road off-ramp.
The CHP said an unidentified person was riding a Suzuki motorcycle westbound on the 80 Freeway when for an undetermined reason they were struck by a white truck. Another vehicle became involved in the collision.

First responders arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist lying down in the No. 2 lane of the freeway and suffering from major injuries. The rider was then taken to a hospital.
The name and condition of the rider were not immediately disclosed.
It was immediately unclear if the other drivers were injured in the crash.
Authorities closed the Nos 1 to 3 lanes of the westbound 80 Freeway at El Portal Drive as they investigated the accident.
