Boy Hurt in Eureka Pedestrian Crash on West Street near 15th Street
Eureka, California (May 15, 2019) – A boy was struck and injured by a vehicle on Tuesday evening in Eureka, according to a local news source.
The incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. May 14, on West Street near 15th Street.
According to the news source, a boy aged between 11 and 12, was crossing the street when he was struck by an SUV.

The boy was responsive and a nurse passing by the scene stopped to assist him.
Emergency crews later arrived at the scene and transported the child to a hospital. No details were provided on the condition of the child.
The woman driving the SUV stayed at the scene and called the authorities.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
