1 Hurt in San Jose Multi-Vehicle Accident on Northbound Highway 85 Near Santa Teresa Boulevard
San Jose, California (May 10, 2019) – At least one person was hurt in a traffic collision involving multiple cars in San Jose Thursday evening.
The crash , which was reported at about 6:22 p.m. May 9, occurred along Highway 85 near Santa Teresa Boulevard off-ramp.
The California Highway Patrol report indicated that three vehicles were involved in the wreck; a white Chevrolet Volt, a silver Mercedes and a black Mazda sedan collided at the intersection for reasons still under investigation.
One person was confirmed to have sustained minor hurts following the wreck. The victim was attended to by the paramedics at the scene of the accident. It was not clear whether or not the unspecified person was taken to the hospital for further medication.
All three vehicles were removed from the scene by tow-trucks. The Mercedes sustained rear and front-end damage in the accident.
The authorities are still investigating the exact cause of the crash.
