At Least 1 Injured in Gilroy Car Accident on Highway 101 near Cochrane Road
Gilroy, California (May 10, 2019) – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision involving a vehicle in Gilroy Thursday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred shortly before 3:03 p.m. May 2, on Highway 101 at Cochrane Road.
The CHP said that a vehicle and a male party riding a motorcycle crashed on the southbound lanes of SR-101. The precious circumstances that led to the collision are still under investigation.
The injured parties were attended to by the Emergency teams who responded at the scene shortly after the accident. The extent of the injuries suffered, and the identity of the victim injured have not yet been released to this time.
Limited information was disclosed regarding the accident, but an investigation is still ongoing.
