La Mesa, California (May 9, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a traffic crash Wednesday night in the area of La Mesa, according to authorities.

The crash happened at around 8:22 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, on Highway 125 near Spring Drive.

As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

The vehicles were blocking the fast lane following the crash. The roadway was cleared as of 9:01 p.m.
