Heather Noonan Hurt in El Centro Traffic Crash at Forrester and Ross Roads
El Centro, California (May 8, 2019) – A woman hospitalized with major injuries after colliding with a big rig at an intersection in El Centro on Tuesday, according to the CHP.
The incident happened at Forrester and Ross Roads on Tuesday, May 7.
CHP said Heather Noonan, 46, of Oceanside, was driving a Mercedes westbound on Ross Road when she rolled through the stop sign at the intersection and was hit by a Peterbilt tractor traveling northbound on Forrester Road.

Noonan sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital in Palm Springs.
The driver of the big rig, identified as Guillermo Gaona, 66, of Los Banos, was unhurt.
CHP said both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
