3 Killed after Drunken Driver Crashes Into Home on State Route 113 in Knights Landing
38-Year-Old Man, 34-Year-Old Woman and 10-Year-Old Boy Killed, 11-Year-Old Girl in Knights Landing Car Accident on State Route 113 near Jennings Court

Knights Landing, California (May 5, 2019) – Three people were killed and an 11-year-old girl was injured after a drunken driver crashes into a parked trailer where a family was sleeping Saturday night in Knights Landing, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly accident happened just before 10:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4 on State Route 113, just north of Jennings Court.
The CHP said Ismael Huazo-Jardinez, 33, of Yuba City, was driving a Chevrolet Avalanche northbound on State Route 113 at a high rate of speed when he failed to slow down for a curve. His truck veered off the road and crashed into the trailer where the family was sleeping.
3 Killed after Driver Plows Into Home in Knights Landing
A 38-year-old man, a 34-year-old woman, and a 10-year-old boy were pronounced dead at the scene. An 11-year-old girl sustained major injuries and was airlifted to U.C. Davis. As of Saturday afternoon, she was listed in critical condition.
Huazo-Jardinez was arrested and booked into the Sutter County Jail for charges of felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
The crash remains under investigation.
