Modesto, California (May 3, 2019) – A motorcyclist was injured in a traffic collision involving a van in Modesto Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol report.
The accident, which was reported at about 1:20 p.m. May 3, occurred on South Ninth Street.
As per the CHP reports, the accident happened when a motorbike collided with a van towing a trailer after it left from Hosmer Avenue.
The motorcycle rider sustained unknown injuries following the crash. The victim was rushed to a hospital by an ambulance for treatment. The CHP has not released the current condition and the identity of the patient.
The collision slowed traffic in the area until around 2:45 p.m. The accident remains under an active investigation.
