Avocado Heights, CA: Multi-Vehicle Accident on 60 Freeway
1 Injured in 60 Freeway Crash near Crosswords Parkway in Avocado Heights
Avocado Heights, California (May 3, 2019) – One person was hospitalized Friday morning after a multi-car accident in Avocado Heights, according to authorities.
The accident, which was reported shortly after 3:30 a.m., happened on the 60 Freeway near Crosswords Parkway.
Authorities said a semi-truck and three other vehicles were involved in the wreck. The semi-truck then flipped over after the impact.
Big Rig Crash on 60 Freeway in Avocado Heights
One person was taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not immediately available.
It was immediately unclear if that patient was in the big rig or one of the three other vehicles involved.
All eastbound lanes and two westbound lanes were shut down flowing the crash. No estimated time was given when the roads would be reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
