13 People Injured in San Jose Bus Accident at Alameda and Julian Street
San Jose, California (May 1, 2019) – Thirteen people suffered injuries in a traffic crash that involved two Santa Clara Valley buses in San Jose Tuesday morning.
The accident was reported at about 6:40 a.m. May 1, at Alameda and Julian Streets.
As per the reports, the accident occurred when one of the buses rear-ended the other for unknown reasons.
A total of thirteen people were injured following the wreck. Ten people were transported to a local hospital by land ambulance while the other three suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene. One of the VTA bus motorists was among the victims rushed to the hospital, but none of the injuries were listed to be life-threatening.
The initial report indicated that the buses were removed from the scene of the accident by the police. Limited details regarding the crash have been released. The investigation is still underway.
