Redwood City, California (April 30, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in the area of Redwood City, according to a California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at around 6:29 a.m. Tuesday, on northbound Highway 101, just south of Peninsula Avenue.

As per the report, two vehicles crashed head-on for reasons still under investigation.

At Least 1 Hurt after Head-On Crash in Redwood City

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the crash. The victim’s name and their current condition were not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

The vehicles were blocking lanes 1 and 2 following the crash. All lanes were opened as of 7:05 a.m.

No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
