Minor Injuries Sustained in Contra Costa Accident on Highway 4 near Bailey Road

Contra Costa, California (April 30, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle crash Monday afternoon in Contra Costa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 4:50 p.m. Monday, April 29, on eastbound Highway 4, just west of Bailey Road on-ramp.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking lanes 1 and 2 following the accident.
All lanes were opened as of 5:39 p.m.
