Jamestown, California (April 29, 2019) – At least one person was severely injured after a traffic crash Sunday evening in the area of Jamestown, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The crash happened at around 8:13 p.m. Sunday, April 28, on westbound Highway 108 near Mount Pass Ranch Road.

As per the report, five vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

Emergency crews along with paramedics responded to the scene and attended to at least one party who suffered severe injuries as a result of the crash. The patient was transported to the hospital for further treatment.

The victim’s name and their current condition were not immediately known.

Authorities closed the roadway following the crash. The lanes were cleared at around 9:46 p.m.

No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
