San Anselmo, California (April 28, 2019) – A pedestrian who was walking two dogs died after being hit by a car in San Anselmo on Saturday night, April 27.

According to a local news source, the fatal pedestrian accident occurred at about 10 p.m. in the 300 block of Butterfield Road at Woodside Drive.

The authorities said the pedestrian was walking her two dogs across the street when she was hit by a car driven by 30-year-old James Boswell.

Fatal San Anselmo Pedestrian Accident

The unidentified pedestrian died shortly afterwards.

One of the dogs was killed in the accident.

Boswell was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
