Salinas, California (April 27, 2019) – A pedestrian was possibly injured after being struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning at an intersection in Salinas, according to authorities.
The crash happened at around 12:34 a.m. Saturday, at Highway 183 and Cooper Road.
As per the CHP officials, a transient was crossing the street when they were struck by a vehicle for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the possibly injured persons. The names of the victims and their current condition were not immediately known.
A tow truck was requested to remove the vehicle from the crash site.
