San Diego, California (April 26, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a pedestrian accident early Friday morning in the area of San Diego, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The crash happened at around 11:55 p.m. Friday, on 5 Freeway, north of Highway 54.
As per the report, a pedestrian was struck by a Nissan Sentra for unknown reasons.

One person was transported to UC San Diego Health, Jacob Medical Center for treatment of severe injuries. The victim’s name and their current condition were not immediately known.
The Nissan Sentra was towed away from the crash site.
Officials blocked all lanes following the crash. The roadway was opened as of 1:17 a.m.
No other information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
