Man Hurt in Indian Wells Bicycle Crash on Highway 111 and El Dorado Drive

Indian Wells, California (April 25, 2019) – A man was injured when his bicycle collided with a Public Works employee’s vehicle on Thursday morning in Indian Wells, according to the authorities.
The incident was reported just before 9 a.m. on Highway 111 and El Dorado Drive.
According to the authorities, the city employee’s vehicle was parked along the paved shoulder of westbound Highway 111 and had its emergency lights on when the 75-year-old rider slammed into its rear.
Elderly Rider Hospitalized after Indian Wells Bicycle Crash
The rider suffered significant injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. He was said to be in stable condition.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department officials were at the scene investigating the incident.
The crash remained under investigation.
