Stockton, California (April 19, 2019) – A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle early Wednesday morning in Stockton, according to police.
The crash happened at about 2:50 a.m. April 17, at March Lane and Palm Plaza Drive.
Officers responded to a call about a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian at the intersection and located an injured woman lying in the roadway. The victim was trying to cross the street when she was hit by a vehicle.

The victim was rushed to a hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle involved stayed at the scene after the incident.
The crash is under investigation.
