Major Injuries Sustained in 5 Freeway Collision near Mossdale Road in Lathrop
Lathrop, California (April 17, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a major injury collision that happened Tuesday afternoon in Lathrop.
According to CHP, the crash occurred at about 3:47 p.m. on northbound 5 Freeway at Mossdale Road off-ramp.
At least two vehicles were involved in the accident. Several pedestrians were out of their vehicles blocking the roadway after the collision.

Responding paramedics said major injuries were sustained in the accident. The exact number of patients, however, remained unknown.
At least two tow trucks were used to clear the roadway.
An investigation to determine the cause of the collision is ongoing.
