East Sacramento, California (April 12, 2019) – Injuries were sustained after a traffic crash Friday morning in the area of East Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The crash happened at around 6:43 a.m. Friday, on Highway 50, just west of  Bradshaw Road on-ramp.

As per the report, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and the degree of the injuries they suffered was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

The vehicles were blocking lane 1 and 2 following the crash. The roadway was cleared as of 7:06 a.m.

No additional information concerning this incident was provided.

An investigation is underway.
