Minor Injuries Sustained in Alpine Accident on 8 Freeway and Tavern Road

Alpine, California (April 9, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a traffic crash Monday night in Alpine, according to authorities.
The accident happened at around 9:26 p.m. Monday, April 8, on 8 Freeway and Tavern Road.
As per the officials, a semi-truck and another vehicle crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The semi sustained rear-axle damage and a blown left rear tyre following the crash.
Authorities closed lane 3 following the accident.
