San Diego, California (April 9, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a traffic crash Monday afternoon in the area of San Diego, according to authorities.

The crash happened at around 4:23 p.m. Monday, April 8, on Highway 163 north of 8 Freeway.

As per the CHP officials, three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

The vehicles were blocking lane 4 following the crash.
