El Cerrito, California (April 8, 2019) – A person was struck and killed by a train in El Cerrito on Monday morning, according to the authorities.
The incident happened around 7:30 a.m. at the El Cerrito del Norte BART station.
The authorities said a person was on the tracks when they were hit by the train.

The victim died in the accident. No details were provided on the identity of the pedestrian.
The crash caused a closure of the El Cerrito del Norte and Richmond stations as the scene was examined.
