2 Killed, 3 Injured in Santa Barbara County Car Crash on Highway 166
Santa Barbara County, California (April 7, 2019) – Two people were killed and three others injured in a traffic accident that involved two vehicles in Santa Barbara County Saturday afternoon, according to a local news source.
The fatal accident occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m. April 6, on Highway 166.
An early 90s Honda and another vehicle collided for unknown reasons on Highway 166.
Man, Woman Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident in Santa Barbara
A male and female, both residents of Kern County, were riding in the Honda and were found unconscious by the medical crews who arrived at the scene shortly after the accident. The two victims were later pronounced dead at the scene.
The wounded victims in the second vehicle were taken to a hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, the identities of the deceased and the injured parties were not released.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
